One of my friends has been absolutely addicted to Operation Flashpoint since he bought it: good AI, interesting missions, lots of add-ons, and a really easy mission builder.
He got Resistance yesterday. It's like a whole other game - better graphics, more units, and an interesting twist on the single player campaign. In the first game you play a nameless commander with an assortment of troops, but in Resistance you're a war vet caught in the middle of the revolution, and you're given a lot of options on how you progress. If you join the rebels you have to be careful about casualties and weapons b/c they carry on into the next missions.

W00t! Glad to finally meet someone else who knows the game!
In the original you play Lietenant something Armstrong, sorry, forgot the first name. It in itself is an amazing game, but Resistance adds a whole lot more depth to the previous version with the graphics. Of course, with my ~566Mhz Pentium 3 I haven't been able to explore them much, but it is truly an amazing game. Most realistic game I have ever played!

There's a military version of this game used by the U.S. Army to train commanders. It's that good.

I have played all earlier versions of the OPF through... I'm waiting that version to ship here... I don't know when we get it, hopefully soon. :)

I still gotta install that game...Halo is taking my time now, but another FPS i'm wondering about is Project: IGI 2, anyone hear anything on it?

Pekki: They don't have it where you live yet? It's a British game, and it's released in (apparantly only part) of Europe two or three months before it comes over here.

My fault... Yes, we do have it here.. But it's strange that the biggest gameseller doesn't have it. :) It's 33bucks. I saw it yesterday at local warehouse. :)

Operation Flashpoint ownz j00 all. I love how you can actually use the sights on the weapons. Plus being able to use all the vehicles is awesome. Another thing I like is that you don't run around with 9 different weapons. I like how you have to drop the one you have if you want to get another one.

Battlefield 1942 owns j00R OPFlash... I just want to get the final version of the BF1942.. I have the resistance.. I bought it a few weeks ago :)
