Just a few questions to you guys with PS2's
You guys interested in going online? As many of us of course have our own ISP's at home and whatnot.
You going to buy the hard drive? (i hear this might be essential)
What online games are you looking forward to playing?
Will you be using dial-up or broadband?
Will you have LAN parties?
Do you think that the whole experience will be fun?

Hm? I have a PS2 but I don't go anywhere near gaming sites because they all suck. Is the PS2 Modem thing coming out? Will I have to pay to use it? Can I just plug my PS2 into my home network? And what is the hard drive for?

Game sites don't all suck, and don't subscribe to magazines because they all suck. There information is old by the time they hit newstands so your better off getting information off sites.

I tend to get the magazines since I've been doing that for years. Videogame sites require you to pay to go into their "members only " areas and whatnot. Videogames.com is on a time lock thing. They close up a story, article, movie or screenshot a week after it's posted.
www.ign.com just sucks left nut. I went to www.ign.com the first time, 5 years ago, that was when it was far superior to videogames.com. About a year ago, it's slowly started decreasing in quality and quantity as well. Then they got all these annoying ads, which are why they are still in business. They sold out, basically, IMO.
As for the online shit. What i REAAAAALLLY want is . . .
to be able to play a RPG with a friend(s) with our ps2's linked together and on our OWN screens and be able to go anywhere in the game I want. That's a cool concept and I dunno why they don't do it for consoles.
