What game (console, PC, arcade, dont matter) do you think has the best music in it? My personal favorite is Final Fantasy 3, or 6 if you want to be anal, but I think that Doom also had some really great music. I especially like Bart Klepka's remix of At Doom's Gate (the song in the first level)

Anyone else?

It was Blind Guardian. The same people who did all that weird shit "inspired" to them by the Lord of the Rings...and I mean the BOOKS, not the movie. They did shit like "Bard's Song in the Forest", which is actually really cool. The rest of their stuff is either annoying different or HEAVY metal

Jeremy Soule's soundtracks for PC games like Morrowind or Neverwinter Nights are deftly done and very moving. It's the only video game music I listen to when I'm not playing the game.

Okay screw you guys.. Command and Conquer, and C&C Red Alert. Those two sound tracks won awards.

edit~ FF: 3-6.. Awsome music.. The remastered stuff, is awsome. Infact, some of the old chocabo music is playing on my winamp right now.. :lol:

Road Rash for the PS1. Alot of good rock in there. Why cant they make a new RR for the Playstation consoles that doesn't suck?

yer alot of the road rash music does kain, i loved playing that on my 486 or whatever i had at the time :D

I gotta also say gta3 has some pretty damn good music too
